After 20 years of service to the industry and association, David Campbell has stepped down as President of the LBMAO effective November 1, 2022.

The Board of Directors of the Association commissioned a search to replace Dave in early spring and after a thorough vetting of candidates, Trevor Small has been selected to replace Dave as the President of the Association.

Trevor brings considerable industry experience to the position having grown up in the family building supply business and as an owner operator of a building supply business in Bowmanville, Ontario.  Trevor also has worked in the vendor side of the business and thoroughly understands the relationship between the retailer and vendor communities and their importance to the LBMAO.

Trevor’s goal will be to strengthen the relationship with members and to grow the membership with consideration to other sectors that would complement  and benefit from the association programs.  Trevor also recognizes that training programs for members businesses have been a strong component of the services the association offers and will continue to source new and productive sources of training to benefit the association membership.

We welcome Trevor to the team and wish Dave a long and healthy retirement.
