Harry Geerlinks
Geerlinks Home Hardware Building Centre

On January 19th, Harry Geerlinks passed away at the age of
65 after a ten year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He leaves
behind his loving wife Deborah; his children Craig (Veronica),
Nicole (Mike Babcock) and Danielle (Aaron Gould); three
grandchildren; his mother Terry (the late Geert Geerlinks); his
siblings; and his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Harry was born in Hamilton, Ontario and was a successful
business owner of both Beaver Lumber and Home Hardware
for over 35 years. His family and friends knew him as a fun-
loving, hard-working family man who was admired by all.
He loved being physically active, attending Sunday morning
church, swinging the clubs, working the lumber desk and,
most of all, spending time with family and friends. He was
a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a
firm understanding of what was important – the simplicity of
living a life with those you love.
If desired, donations to McCormick Home (Memory Lane)
in London, Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the
family.
Harry will be missed by all of his many friends in the
industry. Our condolences to the family.
