        Alfred “Alf” Herbert Curtis                           Tom Evans

        Clayton,  and  Cole;  proud  great-grandpa  of  six;  and  beloved        daughters Kerri (Ryan), two grandchildren
        uncle to many nieces and nephews. The family also wishes to               Ben and Carter and daughter Jill.

           Alf  was  predeceased  by  his  parents,  Arthur  and  Caroline;
        and  his  six  siblings,  Elsie,  Leona,  Walter,  Jean,  Pearl,  and
        Florence.
           Born on the family farm in the Ganaraska (Pontypool) area,
        Alf was a young lad when his family moved to Peterborough.
        He had a natural talent for working with his hands and math
        came easy to him which shaped his career.
           He  worked  for  many  years  as  a  lead  hand  building  cedar   INDEX TO ADVERTISERS
        strip  boats  and  canoes  at  the  Canadian  Canoe  Company,
        before  transitioning  into  aluminum  siding,  soffit,  fascia,  and

           In  1975,  Alf  and  June  opened  the  doors  to  their  new

        to serve the community today.

        closed to allow the staff to attend the funeral.
