those venerable bush planes that were
instrumental in the development of
Canada’s northern regions. It was truly a
special evening and all those who attended
left with a better understanding of the
historical significance of air power and its
contribution towards the growth of Canada.
During dinner, we presented the
prestigious Industry Achievement Award for
2013 to Peter Miller who was in attendance
with his lovely wife and daughter. As
many of you know, Peter is a veteran of
the industry. We congratulate Peter on this
award.
The board also presented the annual
statement during the afternoon meeting;
and reported on the challenges we have
as an Association to continue to grow and
provide the services to our members that
meet their needs, as business and the
economy adapts to new technology and
competitive influences.
We look forward to our next AGM and
invite you to attend. We will endeavour to
make it as interesting and enjoyable as in
past years!
